Mallard in a Storm

The Mallard duck is often overlooked by people, most likely due to it's abundance. Across several continents, it's not a rare bird that you have to look far to find. However, I've always had a soft spot for them - they may be common, but they are beautiful. This male especially stood out to me, as he walked across a frozen canal during a snowstorm in Amsterdam.
