This photo was taken at a Massai Village near the Ngorongoro Crater. After welcoming me in her village by performing a traditional dance with the other women, she then emerged carrying her child. She was extremely pleasant and happy, almost excited to have a visitor. With the backdrop of her home, the photo offers the mother a sense of presence in time and space.
