As an aging artist breaking into a new art sector, I feel I am both old and young at the same time, I embody this polarity constantly. I have reimagined my identity after a 30 yr career as a dance artist to embrace new visual languages through mediums of drawing, painting, photography, film and photomedia. Within my new practice I am exploring the idea of hybridity – transformation, duality, polarity, creating images of convoluted totemic creatures. I endeavor to create psychological spaces that unsettle, embody movement and unravel questions I have about the world. I also love to play and have fun.
