This image of Mammoth Lakes was captured late in the day. It was taken when my husband and I were traveling out of Yosemite to find our hotel for the night. It was so dramatic with the reflections in the lakes that I thought of Ansel Adams photographs and decided it would be more dramatic in black and white.
