Man and pigeons

The photo was taken in the center of the city of Yekaterinburg (Russia). I was sitting in an alley. The man sat down opposite and began to feed the pigeons directly from his hands. It seemed to me that in his life there is some kind of sadness, and such an occupation as feeding city pigeons helps to dispel this sadness a little. When we do something kind for others - even such a small thing as feeding pigeons - it makes our life more meaningful. It also seemed to me that people and hungry pigeons are somewhat similar, especially those people who find themselves in a difficult situation or live in poor conditions.
