Photographed during a street photography walk in San Francisco’s SoMa district, this fleeting scene stopped me in my tracks — a man in a dark cloak whose shadow seemed to perform its own act against the wall of 1601 Indiana Street. The geometry of light, gesture, and anonymity turned an ordinary sidewalk moment into a small urban theater.
