20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
While visiting some mangrove habitats in southern Florida, I had a totally different view since it was a low tide. The roots were exposed, and looked stunning. The black-necked stilt in the foreground has a beautiful place to live in.
