Mardi Gras Flambeaux

In my home town of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mardi Gras is a century-long tradition during which the city celebrates its cultural heritage. An especially unique tradition involves Flambeaux carriers, or keepers of the light, that walk down the smoky streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras parades performing dances and collecting tips.
