I arrived in Munich for my new semester just when a new wave of COVID started. I had to visit the back in the the city and it was eerily quiet, with rain adding to the gloom. Usually Marienplatz is bustling with activity (fortunately that happened in the summer!) and many people like to view the Rathaus-Glockenspiel show.
