As an uncommon foreigner I was able to capture this early morning shot of an unaware yet focused local boy about to prepare his family’s market stall for the day of commerce that was about to arrive. The shot is particularly exhilarating because of the contrast the bright morning sun rays off the white church make on the hard and dark laboures reality of this boy central to the frame as he prepares at this busy Central-American market in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.
