Masai woman
A portrait of Mones Oshuo, from Amboseli, Kenya, during the wedding celebrations for one of her male relatives. The beaded jewellery of Masai women have deep cultural significance - they can tell you not only the age of the wearer, but also if they are married, if they have children – and if so, if they are boys or girls. Always grateful for the hospitality and friendship from this village.
