MATTING OF OLIVE RIDLEY TURTLES
These turtles are found only in a few coasts of Eastern India. After crossing a very long distance through ocean, they come to these coasts for laying eggs and after that they go back to their original habitat. This rare event was photographed in deep sea at a distance of about two kilometers from the shore. I was extremely lucky to have taken this while in a tour to the Gahirmatha beach of Bhitarkanika in Orissa.
