Maui Sugar Cane as an Art Student

I wanted to create a composite photograph, highlighting one of the historical locations on Maui from my perspective. This plantation provided an unusual backdrop, particularly for what one typically sees depicted in photographs taken on Maui. I was also drawn to the texture provided by the equipment found at the plantation; generally composite photographs are more interesting with more texture, varying focal points, and depth of field. I am very fond of this image as it will forever remind me of the times I spent on Maui and the many photo adventures taken at this historical, and soon to be dead plantation.
