I took this panorama on top of Mauna Kea on the Island of Hawaii. It shows the UK Infrared Telescope in the left portion of the image, the Milky Way stretching from the left to the right, and the summit of Mauna Kea on the right side of the image. The summit it backlit by the glow of the active lava flow from the 2018 Kilauea eruption.
