This image was taken in Marrakesh, Morocco. The city of Marrakesh is unlike any other. Stalls selling pungent spices, assortments of dried fruits, and fresh eggs aside squawking chickens line the narrow streets, motorcycles whiz by leaving trails of grey fumes, and five times throughout the day, the call to prayer echoes powerfully through the city. I wanted to capture one aspect of the business and vitality of the city streets; I set my eyes on a hanging slab of meat that was being sold from a small meat market.
