Pictured is a grandmother with her grandson in a small village outside of Kalaw, Myanmar. My travel group had just begun a two-day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake, which lay 40km east of the city. We were greeted by the kind villagers and joined them for a light snack before continuing on our journey.
