Metallic Green Sweat Bee on Hoary Mountain Mint

Hoary mountain mint (Pycnanthemum incanum) is a native perennial wildflower that grows in Pennsylvania as well as other eastern states in the USA. Pollinators love, love, LOVE these wildflowers, and on any given day you can find dozens upon dozens of sweat bees, like the one shown in this photo, along with butterflies, wasps and other pollinators, nectaring on the blooms of this lovely plant.
