Metrocable in Medellin

The Metrocable in Medellin was built so that the people who work down in the valley of the city would no longer have to walk miles down to work and miles back up (after working all day) every day. The cable stops at all the little villages on the way up the mountain. After passing the last of the city, the cable cars go for miles over thick forests and arrive at a little bazaar where one can buy local foods and crafts.
