Mid Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival (Tết Trung Thu) is also known in Vietnam as the Children's Festival. The festival involves the customs of moon contemplating, lion dance, making paper lanterns & enjoying mooncakes. The festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th Lunar Month. This event took place at Hoằng Pháp pagoda that is located in Tan Hiep ward, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh city and was founded in 1957 by Ngo Chan Tu.
