This photo was difficult to capture because of the weather conditions. The winds gusting 30-40 mph at this overlook, and on a chilly spring night. Furthermore, the night was very dark, with no moon, which made composing and focusing especially difficult. My exposure was three minutes long, and required coordination via radio to my then-fiancee to drive our rental car around the loop. She thought I was crazy, and probably still does!
