20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Midnight Falls
My favorite thing to photograph when I am out in nature are waterfalls. They bring me great peace, both from a visual and auditory standpoint. I loved the small back lighting that was coming from the small opening above the waterfall, making this an easy shot for me to compose.
