16th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Midnight Sky
During the summer in Sweden, the sun barely sets, if at all, making sunsets last for hours. This photo was taken at around 10:30 at night, less than two hours before midnight, and the sky still had an orange glow.
