Spending time with the critically endangered mountain gorillas of Volcanoes National Park was amazing. It rained the entire time, we were completely drenched covered in mud, hiking uphill and sliding the entire way for hours, and it was so worth it! They are gentle and peaceful creatures, and they are obviously so very human like.
