This is a self portrait of myself. I have always been a fan of more abstract, editorial and dark images, so I was playing around with my aesthetic. It is an image the plays on life as a teenager in America. It is in black and white because often we are still learning to see things as more than what they are. My eyes are closed and the image feels somber because we are all struggling with our own things, but there is still motion (as seen with my hair) because we are all working to keep going.
