Mike - Lincoln County

Mike came into town to get salt-lick for his cows. Lincoln County presents distinct overlapping contrasts. A mining town, a Mormon town and a railroad town remain, three in a tight row, on Route 93, the main road. Amongst it are ranchers, often land rich and cash poor. In the few schools are some kids wishing to move away, and 150 miles to the south, retirees in Las Vegas wondering if they might return. Meanwhile, banks, railroads and mining companies still act as if unaware of their impact. Yet this American West continues.
