Taken at Kelso Dunes, Mojave Desert, California. This place never ceases to amaze me. I had hiked up these dunes multiple times during daytime and always thought about what the Milky Way backdrop would look like with the white sand dunes. To my knowledge, I am the only one with a photo like this, as it is extremely difficult to access, especially in pitch darkness.
