This image includes the Milky Way rising over the red rocks of Sedona Arizona including Bell Rock and Courthouse Rock. The image was taken on a trip I made out to Northern Arizona in June of this year. In addition to the red rock formations the image also includes the beautiful green air glow visible that evening in Sedona. Also visible are the glow of nearby Oak Creek on the right side of the image and Sedona on the left side of the image reflecting off the red rock formations.
