This photograph was taken during a freezing night in the remote valleys of Kashmir called as Gurez and till recently inaccessible to common visitors and backpackers due to the valley close proximity to the LOC, International border of India and Pakistan.The valley of Gurez is still not developed with basic road infrastructure and meager Electric power supply and remains cut off from developed part of Kashmir and Jammu Region for 7 months in a year as no Air connectivity and the only highway connection is out of bounds due to heavy Snow This was my first attempt to capture Milkyway and Astrophotography
