This image is the result of merging several images through HDR in order to obtain not only enhanced contrast more closely to that as actually seen, but also to provide a more solid feel of motion on the wheel, as opposed to the blur that would be obtained by exposing the image using a longer shutter speed, and either a reduced EV or a density filter.
