And so every evening this corner of Sicily is transformed into a work of art, enriched also by the ancient windmills, the few that still resist the passage of time. Someone has been recovered and valued, others are waiting to be saved. Many are in a state of neglect, collapsed in several parts and now reduced to ruins. But at sunset, thanks to the backlight and the mix of shadows and shades, these ancient monuments, symbol of these lands, seem almost to rise again, taking up the glorious features and forms that, at dusk, for centuries have distinguished this landscape between sky and sea.
