The iron oxide rocks on top of the sand pillars forms a mini-canyon view at one part of Berakas Beach. The tropical rainforest weather brings a lot of rain to the beach. The rain erodes the soft sand underneath the iron oxide rocks and creates a mini-canyon landscape.
