18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Mirror Lake Sunburst
On an evening walk with my camera and lens in hand around Mirror Lake at the Norfolk Botanical Garden, I saw the sun going down behind the trees across the lake. I saw the potential for a possible sunburst through the trees and focused my attention to photographing a sunburst.
