Misak’s lightheartedness

Misak indigena community have a profound attachment to their traditions and costumes. They actively speak their mother language and dress in their colourful typical clothes, full of symbolism mostly referred to the nature. Tata Felipe (on the right) is the head master of the natural medicine department, composed by an actual laboratory to work with the plants, a pharmacy and a office where he and and other Misak doctors receive the patients, keeping track of diagnoses and medicine prescript. Despite his serious job, he can laugh unrestrained, so freely and loud as a child.
