12th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Misery
This is my youngest daughter, age 8, doing a great acting job. Inside a cell at an old military prison fort I asked her to look miserable. Considering it was 90 deg in September, she did not have to act too hard. Her eyes really tell the tale of misery.
