Misty Afternoon on Pierce Point Ranch
Known for its butter, Pierce Ranch was considered the best dairy ranch in CA as of 1900. Ceasing operations in 1973, it was preserved in a minimally altered state to best reflect what west Marin dairy looked like at the time. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. (nps.gov)
