Starting February 8th of 2020, when my local Great Horned Owls first nested, through early summer I watched this family of five in the northern Boreal Forest (northern Minnesota). In early May on a cool day (snow was still on the ground), Mom flew over to check out her owlets who had had just days before learned how to fly.
