Momma' Kill Deer
Here in Kentucky we have a bird called a "Kill Deer." They lay between 2-4 pretty big speckled eggs. Which you can see part of one just below her chest. They make their nest on the ground. Which blends in quit well. When she is laying on them 24/7 right before they hatch, she gets defensive and expands her tail feathers and squawks at the predator.
