Monarch Butterfly Migration
High in the mountains near Mexico City you can find the Sierra Chincua Butterfly Sanctuary. There, roosting on the boughs of the Oyamel fir trees millions of Monarch butterflies overwinter. In the Spring they migrate as far as Canada. When the sun is especially warming the butterflies will search for a drink or sunbathe on a leaf.
