Monarch butterfly resting on a flower

Butterflies are very sensitive little creatures. When getting too close, they'll fly away in a hurry. This Monarch butterfly was unlike the others I've seen allowing me to photograph it when it landed on unidentifiable flower as it gathered it's precious; sweet nectar.
