Transformation: This is a monarch chrysalis affixed to a wooden fence. I am amazed by the natural beauty of the delicate hanging cocoon. The metallic gold colored spots resemble jewels and the opaque side of the turquoise cocoon features the caterpillar's beginning of a wing appearing.
