A monk is painting a sign to show the way to his remote monastery in the beautiful Truso Gorge near the abandoned village Ketrisi on the Georgian border with Russia. When winter arrives he and his fellow monks are cut off from the outside world for almost 5 months. From their monastery they look down into the valley facing a women's monastery, with whom they share nothing but an emergency phone.
