Monkeys in Lopburi town, Thailand.
Lopburi city in Thailand is best known for the thousands of crab-eating macaques that live in the middle of the city, especially around the Khmer temples, Prang Sam Yot and Sarn Phra Karn. People of Lopburi consider them the reincarnation of Hanuman, the mythical Hindu monkey god. Which is why they are tolerated and worshiped, inspite of their daily nuisance, like happily sitting on a main road. All and every vehicle is careful in avoiding hitting them.
