I camped at the North Rim late in the monsoon season hoping to capture moody images. This was taken late one afternoon on the North Rim. The vantage point had quite a few tourists and all were run away by the rains. I brought out the rain gear and waited it out. I was rewarded with the image I captured as sunlight peeked through the clouds and canyon.
