13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Montlake Park sunset
I was inspired by a friend's sunset photo at Montlake Park in Moses Lake so I went out to shoot a sunset photo of my own. Right after the sunset, the clouds lit up and the beautiful colors were reflected on the surface of the lake. Mosquitoes were biting me as I shot this photo, but I was not deterred.
