An inquisitive duo of Eastern grey kangaroos were looking into my lens. Shimmering in the twilight, the rising moon orchestrates a surreal backdrop while the mysteriously blue Tasman sea tunes it out. A not-so-typical evening in Maria Island, Tasmania, where even the kangaroos cannot resist moon-gazing.
