Moonset at Keyhole Rock
Sunset is the big deal here in Big Sur at this secluded little paradise called Pfeiffer State Beach. The Keyhole Rock is famous for having the sun set directly in it for a couple of weeks each year, drawing thousands of photographers to the area. This image is unique as in that nobody goes there at night, and until now, not even the local photographers knew that this happened at all. Moonset in the Keyhole happens more than once a year but I am not sure how many times yet.
