Moorhens evening stroll
The photo shows a Moorhen with an unusually dark beak infront of sunlit reeds in the eveing, searching for bits of food between the rocks. Originally I just wanted to take a photo to compare it to the drawings in my bird guide, but as it turned out, the picture looked really good! So I took a few more and chose one to submit to a competition.
