In June and July of 2016 I spent about a month in Australia, visiting some old friends and exploring new things and places. Part of that exploration involved spending eight days hiking by myself along back roads and along the Bicentennial National Trail, much of which went through remote areas of bushland. On this particular morning I was camped out next to an empty cow paddock and was able to witness a brilliant sunrise as I got ready to break camp for another full day of hiking.
