I captured this image of a Canada Goose bathing in the early morning sunlight. A nearby housing subdivision surrounds a lake and wetlands that are home to a variety of birds. The animals tend to be most active in the mornings, so I'll typically get up early and just wander the shoreline looking for photo opportunities.
