I was eating breakfast on my grandparents' beachfront porch in San Felipe, Baja California when I heard this faint chirping coming from our neighbor's patio. At first, I couldn't see where it was coming from until I heard them chirping above my head. Tucked above a light fixture, hidden from predators were these three very hungry baby birds. Anxiously waiting for their guardian to return with breakfast, any noise I made had these cuties squeaking with excitement. This was one of the only photos I took so I could prevent scaring off their protector.
